What makes Colombian Coffee so good?
Colombian coffee is known for having a very unique flavor. The difference in location changes the plant’s size and makes Colombian coffee smoother, richer, and less acidic.
Geography and climate
Colombia has the perfect geography to grow beautiful and fragrant coffee beans. Coffee grows best where there are at least 200 centimeters of rainfall each year and locations where the temperature never falls below freezing. Colombia’s mountainous terrain, tropical location, high rainfall levels, and relatively mild climate make it ideal for growing coffee trees!
Growing and harvesting
The best coffee is grown on steep slopes, surrounded by trees, which provide much-needed shade against the sun that can scorch the beans – and each bean is handpicked by farmers that care about quality control. Yes, you read that right: there are nearly 600,000 farmers in Colombia who handpick every bit of their harvest with a lot of care to get top-notch coffee for you!
